New York REALTORS sold 5,732 existing single family homes in the month of November, a decrease of 6.8 percent from October, but an increase of 2.9 percent from November 2010. The November median sales price was virtually unchanged from October. Click here to learn more.

GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS
Embattled State Sen. Carl Kruger pleaded guilty last week to taking more than $1 million in bribes in exchange for political favors. Krueger will face nine to 11 years in prison for four felony charges including fraud, conspiracy and bribery. Click here to learn more.
According to the latest poll released by Quinnipiac University, Gov. Andrew Cuomo's approval rate among voters is 68 percent. However, only 38 percent of those surveyed said they support the state's new income tax rates, which overhauled brackets to provide a modest break for middle income earners and a higher rate for wealthy New Yorkers.
