SaskPower Gas Inspections has issued a public safety notice regarding adapters being sold online for the sole purpose of refilling disposable propane cylinders (commonly known as “1-lb” cylinders) from refillable propane cylinders (usually 20 lbs or otherwise known as "BBQ" cylinders). Fuel distributors who have distributed more than 200 litres of fuel between January 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017 are required to produce a report on their GHG emissions no later than June 1, 2018, as set out in section 6.1, paragraph 3 of the Regulation respecting mandatory reporting of certain emissions of contaminants into the atmosphere.
The CPA holds a number of Equivalency Certificates on behalf of its members and are available on the CPA website. The conditions of each Equivalency Certificate must be complied with.
