Over the last several months, the CPA consulted with committees and members across the country on the adoption of Reliable Propane. With the adoption of a commitment statement, the objective is to improve risk management performance and to elevate public perception about the safety and responsibility of the propane industry.
On October 4, 2018, the TSSA presented the Regulatory Modernization Initiative Plan and Roadmap to the Propane Advisory Council (PAC). The initiative, which is estimated to begin at the start of Q4 2018, will look at new regulation and compliance models aimed at transitioning the TSSA to a modern regulator.
The CPA holds a number of Equivalency Certificates on behalf of its members and are available on the CPA website. The terms and conditions of each Equivalency Certificate must be adhered to at all times.
