On June 12, 2019, the Ontario government announced changes to reduce regulatory burden in the auto industry that will result in simplified training requirements for drivers refuelling propane vehicles – a great first step for the propane industry.
The TSSA’s Propane Advisory Council coordinator has confirmed the acceptance of the CPA’s Ontario Director of Government Relations, Marcelline Riddell, as a council member, effective June 1, 2019.
Environment and Climate Change Canada will be providing information sessions regarding the federal fuels regulations. Three sessions have been scheduled at various locations across Canada.

The CPA has made changes to its scholarship award to improve benefit offerings to members. The Association has adjusted wording so that all family members of CPA members companies who are planning/pursuing post-secondary education at a Canadian vocational or trade school, community college, or university, can apply for the award, regardless of course selection. As such, the scholarship deadline has been extended to Friday, June 21. To apply, please visit the awards section of the CPA website.
