CPHR
The NKE is an academic exam that is a requirement for many pursuing the CPHR designation and assesses one's knowledge of the Competency Framework. The exam is only offered twice per year, in June and November annually. Date: June 3, 2017 Register Here More information on becoming a CPHR In-person Prep Course CPHR Manitoba offers an in-person prep course in partnership with the British Columbia Human Resource Management Association. This course is designed to help participants consolidate the knowledge they already have and - more importantly - identify where they need to focus additional studying in order to be successful in completing this multiple-choice assessment. The Validation of Professional Experience is a formal step in completing the process to become a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) for all routes to the designation. There are three VPE intakes per year. The next submission deadline is May 15, 2017. Have questions about preparing your VPE submission? Attend one of our upcoming information sessions! Continuing Professional Development signifies continued mastery of the CPHR Competency Framework and is a requirement to maintain the CPHR designation. CPHRs are required to report a minimum of 100 hours of professional development activity over each rolling three year period and a minimum of 20 hours each year. All CPHR members must have all activities entered into their online log by May 31, 2017 for the period of June 1, 2014 - May 31, 2017. Have questions about completing your log? The Hiring Confidence Index, which results from CPHR Manitoba's semi-annual Manitoba HR Trends survey that was conducted this past fall, measures how Manitoba employers feel about hiring over the next six months. The index emphasizes how confident HR Professionals are that they can hire the right people to fill open positions; it also incorporates views on growth in the number of positions.
