Call for Applications for the 5th Annual Outreach to Educators Events

Foster Outreach to Educators Events (OEE) in your community through targeted, global learning outreach or hosting a workshop/seminar on global competency through intercultural learning (ICL) for educators and administrators! The overarching goal this year is to focus on the important link between global learning and cultural exchange as a mean to promote public diplomacy. Grants provide up to $1,500, and can be used for any number of activities that encourage intercultural learning through collaboration with local teachers and AFS volunteers.

Applicants are encouraged to highlight the critical link between cultural exchange and 21st century skills in their proposals. Examples include: professional development events, classroom presentations, conference attendance fees, materials and resource fees, and anything else that brings global learning and cultural exchange insight to the community.
