February 23, 2016: Understanding ESSA and Measures of School Quality

The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) legislation poses both a challenge and an opportunity for states in several policy areas, including the creation of a system of school accountability. Join us for a free webinar to learn more about the details of ESSA and hear from state leaders on how they are approaching this challenge. This webinar is presented as a collaboration between the Southern Regional Education Board (SREB), the Education Delivery Institute (EDI), and My Student Survey. During the session we will go over the changes in ESSA, discuss the implications of the new Measures of School Quality and Student Success (such as student engagement and school climate), and share best practices among members of various state education departments.
