Job description: My job largely consists of coordinating lodging and meals, meeting space and other logistics for Senior Management Meetings, Board of Director's Meetings, Project Manager Trainings, Supervisor Trainings, Project Administration Trainings, Client Manager Trainings and HR Contacts Conferences. I coordinate our annual fundraiser for TranSystems charity of choice and just added to the list for this year is serving as event coordinator for five significant client events/charity golf tournaments being held across the country.

What I enjoy best about the hospitality industry: 
• "I'm a big fan of hospitality ... receiving it, that is." Therefore, I appreciate the detail. I love the attention. Hospitality is attention to people; with details so much in place only the guest is on our mind. So ... my goal is to the give the customer what I would want. 
• I enjoy the initial discovery interview ... coming to understand the significance of an event-to-be, in the mind of the client. 
o First impressions as the guests arrive. 
o What must be accomplished during the event 
o What should be remembered after the event
o The creative exchange ...
o How can I give the client an "everything-is-as-it-should-be" confidence throughout the event? 
• Developing relationships with suppliers so the work just gets easier as we grow together ... working from the same side of the table. 
• Being trusted to create whatever environment is required to support and even enhance the clients' objective.  
• The individuals working alongside me in this industry are my friends. This is my "fit."
 
Activities I enjoy outside of work:
• I enjoy spending time with my husband of one whole year and my two stepdaughters, a good happy hour and of course breaking it down on the dance floor.

• My job is to come in "on time," "at budget" and above the client's expectations. Who's more important than my supplier?
