On November 19, more than 80 people (KCMPI members and nonmembers) attended a very successful KCMPI fundraising event at The Ritz Charles featuring nationally recognized wine pairing expert, Leslie Sbrocco. Among Leslie's numerous accomplishments is her Emmy award and her James Beard award. She has been featured in numerous national publications and is a favorite on the "Today" show. 
 
The event was a huge hit due to delicious food, fantastic atmosphere sponsored by Harvest productions and highly informative and funny content from Leslie - sponsored by FIVE STAR Speakers. Leslie generously donated all the wine for the event. During the fun and interactive session, Leslie showed planners how they can make better informed wine decisions to create a superior event - even on a budget.
 
The evening capped off the annual FIVE STAR KC Speaker Showcase attended by more than 180 planners. All revenue generated from Showcase sponsorships were donated to KCMPI.
