Greetings KCMPI Members!
My time as the KCMPI Chapter President is quickly coming to
an end. The year has flown by. I am grateful to have had the
opportunity to serve the chapter.
As mentioned in the April newsletter, when looking at the
top-notch programs, increased membership, increased attendance, community
support, and additional supplemental benefits for chapter members, I can
confidently say that this has been a great year.
The October issue reported several numbers of where the
chapter was at that point in time. I am very excited to report some
amazing updates.
- In October, our member count was 170. It
is currently at 189 members.
- Our average attendance at educational programs
increased by 130%
- The average attendance at networking programs
increased by 146%.
- Last year, we had a very high member
satisfaction score of 8.37 out of 10. We did not anticipate an increase
when forecasting, but this year, we received an 8.87 on a 10 point scale!
- Financially, with less than a month left in the
fiscal year, we are forecasting ending the year in the black.
These are some outstanding accomplishments!
These successes are attributed to the hard work and
dedication of many people.
- The executive committee and board of directors
played an integral role in formulating the goals for the year and implementing
a game plan.
- The committees worked diligently on the front
line planning the programs, projects, and activities.
- Over 750 members and guests have attended our
programs.
- Numerous sponsors have supported the activities
and needs of the chapter.
- Our chapter administrator has remained a stable,
supportive representative throughout the years.
I am grateful for each person who played a role in the
success of the chapter this year. With the knowledge, experience, and
drive of Karen Hoch and the incoming Board of Directors, I am confident that
the momentum will continue as they guide our chapter into the future.
It was an honor to serve at the 2013-2014 President of
KCMPI!
With Sincere Gratitude,
