Continued growth of the Association provides opportunities for new roles for key staff members NPMA recently announced a series of internal promotions. Dominique Stumpf, NPMA’s chief executive officer said promoting team members from within is a key part of their culture. Congratulations Andy, Megan and Jake! When developing websites and marketing collateral, it’s easy to download images from the internet and assume they are in the public domain and may be used without any restrictions. You may not know it, but you could be infringing a copyright. It’s not uncommon for a PMP to get a letter from an attorney demanding payment for using a copyrighted photo and threatening litigation if the company does not settle. It can cost thousands of dollars. NPMA encourages you to review your websites and marketing collateral to be sure you are not infringing copyrights.
