Help the industry by getting involved NPMA is reaching out to the industry in Georgia to encourage them to vote in the January 5th runoff that will determine control of the Senate. This election will determine what the Senate looks like for the next two years. NPMA has already fought multiple bills this year like the Neguse bill, which would ban pesticides, totally dismantle preemption in all 50 states, and mandate that the EPA no longer incorporate the benefits of the products in risk determinations. This would be a huge blow to our industry. Activist groups will be pushing this bill, and others like it, so it is essential we elect members of Congress who understand how important our industry is to the protection of public health. It is easy to imagine this bill in an evenly split Senate, and others like it passing to President Biden’s desk.
