HUD awards $3.5 million to New York State to fight housing and lending discrimination

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has awarded more than $3.5 million to 11 New York nonprofit groups to education the public and help combat housing and lending discrimination. The grants are part of more than $40 million awarded nationwide.
