Governor Cuomo signs "Power NY 2011"

On Thursday, August 4, Gov. Andrew Cuomo signed the "Power NY Act of 2011" into law, which includes the "Green Jobs/Green NY" component allowing homeowners and businesses to invest in energy efficient projects through low-interest loans via the NYS Energy Research and Development Authority. After working with key staff from the governor's office and legislative leaders, each of NYSAR's concerns were addressed before the bill came to the Legislature for its approval.
