RealtyTrac: New York State total annual and quarterly foreclosures decrease; New York home to longest average foreclosure process time in nation

In its 2011 year-end foreclosure market report, which reports default notices, scheduled auctions and bank repossessions, RealtyTrac Inc. reported New York State had 26,100 total foreclosures in 2010, a decrease of 40.56 percent from 2010.
