RealtyTrac: New York State February 2012 total foreclosures increase from 2011; state continues to rank amongst lowest in nation

In its U.S. Foreclosure Market Report for February 2012, RealtyTrac Inc. reported New York State had 1,761 total foreclosures, an increase of 5.32 percent from January, but a decrease of 35.85 percent from February 2011. New York State ranked number 46 of all 50 states for monthly total foreclosure filing in February.
