Despite a lower than average turnout, Primary Day in New York had many interesting and surprising results. Winners include incumbent mayors Byron Brown in Buffalo and Stephanie Minor in Syracuse, Lovely Warren in Rochester, Kathy Sheehan in Albany and Bill De Blasio in New York City.
