U.S. Commerce Department: Northeast housing starts fall in November, building permits remain level

Privately-owned housing starts in November fell 8.5 percent for the Northeast to 130,000, according to data released by the U.S. Commerce Department. October’s total was 142,000. Building permits for the Northeast saw no change in November, remaining at 131,000. Learn more here.
