NY REALTORS come to Albany to support first-time homebuyer savings bill

Hundreds of REALTORS are in Albany this morning on REALTOR Lobby Day to support the NY First Home proposal and other key real estate issues on behalf of the industry and homeowners. Last week, NYSAR launched a public campaign in support of the proposal to make buying a first home more affordable in New York State. The program would allow individuals to save up to $5,000 ($10,000 for couples) per year in a designated savings account to be used solely for costs associated with the purchase of a first home.
