New York State Comptroller: New Yorkers face $43 billion in added taxes if Congress fails to act on fiscal cliff

According to a report issued by New York State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli, if Congress fails to act to avert sweeping federal tax hikes and spending cuts by January 1, New Yorkers could face more than $43 billion in tax increases and lose $609 million in federal aid next year.
