NAR: Existing-home sales jump again in October

Existing-home sales ascended in October for the second straight month and eclipsed June’s cyclical sales peak to become the highest annualized pace in nearly a decade, according to the National Association of REALTORS (NAR).Total existing-home sales grew 2 percent to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.6 million in October from an upwardly revised 5.49 million in September. October existing-home sales in the Northeast climbed 1.4 percent to an annual rate of 750,000, and are now 1.4 percent above a year ago.To read the entire NAR press release, click here.
