News from MacDon

The MacDonald brothers will continue to own the MacDon Group of Companies.

Their tremendous growth in recent years has led to an expanded Senior Management Team. What began as a family-owned and operated company is now successfully run by several experienced professionals in partnership with family members. To complete this evolution, the following changes in the Senior Management Team of the MacDon Group of Companies will occur on Jan. 1, 2014:

Gary Giesbrecht, our Vice President and CFO, will assume the position of President and CEO. The Finance Group will continue to report to him.

Steve Ward, Vice President, will assume responsibility for the HR Group, and continue with his IT, Corporate Development and Risk Management responsibilities.

Ken Ross, Vice President, will continue to be responsible for Operations which included the Manufacturing, Product Integrity, Production Engineering and Supply Cahin Groups.

Gene Fraser, will be promoted to Vice President responsible for the Sales and Marketing Group.

John Wright, will be promoted to Vice President responsible for Design Engineering, New Product Development (NPD) and our Product Managers.

In support of these changes, the MacDonald brothers will move to a newly formed Board of Directors, acting in an advisory capacity to the Senior Management Team and will be available to assist this Team, as requested.
