Strengthening Membership Outreach and Service

AMC has undergone some changes in the past few months to make it more efficient at serving members. In early June, Nanos Research sent surveys to all members asking for their input on AMC, our services and programs. Thank you for your input and feedback as it will help make AMC more valuable to members.

With the new president came a restructuring of AMC’s roles and responsibilities. Some of these changes resulted in team members leaving and we wish them well in their endeavours. Please join us welcoming the newest team members:

• Manager, Marketing and Communications: Shannon Bachorick joins AMC with over 10 years’ experience managing and operating her own business in communications. Shannon is responsible for developing a communications strategy and annual plan for our key marketing tools including our electronic newsletter, bi-annual magazine and events planning. If you have news releases or items that should be shared with other members, please send them to shannon@a-m-c.ca.

• Executive Assistant: Judy Ahlsten joins AMC with over 20 years of administrative experience to executives in the financial industry. Judy’s mandate is to support the president and board of directors while also ensuring we are serving members well.

Donnie remains our trusted financial advisor and continues to support the services and programs offered to members.

As part of the restructuring, all staff members are able to help members with questions about our programs and services.

The AMC office in Regina has also undergone a few cosmetic changes with fresh new paint and artwork on display by Saskatchewan artist Jo Ann Fahlman. We received many compliments on our new look during the AMC open house at the start of Canada’s Farm Progress Show. We also now have a dedicated office with a desk and a window for members who would like to have a space to work in Regina. The office includes a private phone line and Wi-Fi. We also have a small conference room that accommodates up to eight people. As always, we are happy to offer coffee, tea or water to AMC members while in Regina. Please contact us if you wish to reserve this space.

We need your input!

We would like your input on the date of AMC’s Annual Golf Classic. In the past, it was held on the Monday of CFPS week. This year, we held it on the Tuesday. We want to know what our members prefer for next year. Would you rather our golf tournament be held on Monday, June 13 or Tuesday, June 14, 2016? As well, please send any other feedback concerning the golf tournament to Shannon Bachorick. Thank you for your response!
