AMC welcomes new Executive Assistant Ty Hamil to the team
Dear AMC members,
As many of you know, Teresa Couture recently left the AMC team to teach
English in Japan. We are very happy for her and her opportunity - she
was a great asset to the team, who interacted with members regularly.
For those at the Ag In Motion show last week, you may have met Teresa’s
replacement, Ty Hamil who was there meeting members.
Born
in Winnipeg, Ty was raised primarily in rural south-eastern Ontario.
After graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Psychology, he spent three years in Ottawa working for the
Senate of Canada’s Real Property Planning Directorate, providing him
insight into parliamentary procedure. With AMC’s recently approved
strategy plan focusing on stronger advocacy and lobbying, Ty’s
experience and background aligns well with the next phase of providing
more value to members.
In addition to myself, our team now consists of:
- April Jackman – Manager of Marketing and Communications who
oversees our engagement with members (monthly newsletter, Twitter,
LinkedIn, our new website) and throughout our events. April is located

- Megan Sigmeth, CPA, CMA – Financial Service Provider who manages our day-to-day financial needs. Megan can be reached at: finance@a-m-c.ca

directory, keeps our office organized and helps me with our overall

Regardless of title, our entire team is dedicated to helping expand and
strengthen the agriculture equipment industry in Canada. We welcome
