By Dr. Tangila Dove Student Success: Changing The Game! At the 2015 CCBO Annual International Conference in Las Vegas, Community College Business Officers enhanced our learning about our continuous journey of supporting and enhancing the student learning environment at our community colleges. Dr. Rufus Glasper, our opening session speaker, highlighted the expanded role or Community Colleges Business Officer, but also stressed the components and the role business officers play in student success, access, and completion. Dr. Ken Atwater, President of Hillsborough Community College and Chair of AACC, provided an update on Implementation Guide: Empowering Community Colleges, followed by more information on how business officers can implement this initiative.
