A huge recall is about to commence by the big four Japanese automobile makers of approximately 3.4 million vehicles due to defective airbags. All the airbags were purchased from the same manufacturer, Takata Corp., the world’s second-largest supplier of airbags and seatbelts.

On April 29, AAA urged Illinois legislators to vote "no on SB 2356," which would increase the speed limit to 70 mph on Illinois' roadways. The bill has already passed through the Illinois Senate and awaits a full vote by the Illinois House.
