The Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa, located in Hood River, OR, has long had a reputation for eerie happenings, and it's no wonder—it’s even listed among the haunted houses in Oregon.
This historic property, owned by the family of AAHOA Northwest Regional Director Taran Patel, recently played host to AAHOA's first-ever Sunrise Soirée: Her Path to Ownership, Powered by Ride. Deeper Dive: Guests and staff have reported several spine-tingling encounters at the Columbia Gorge Hotel & Spa, including the mysterious smell of cigar smoke linked to a former resident who passed away on the property. There have also been strange occurrences such as furniture being barricaded from inside rooms with no one present and ghostly apparitions of a man in a frock coat and top hat, as well as a lady in white who reportedly leapt from a hotel balcony. Pack your bags and get your passports ready because we’re headed to Mexico City!
What's Happening: Join us on February 6-7, 2025, at the breathtaking Andaz Mexico City Condesa for an unforgettable experience! The AAHOA HYPE Conference is designed to ignite the next generation of hospitality leaders with cutting-edge insights, inspiring sessions, and invaluable networking opportunities.
