AAHOA/AH&LA Legislative Action Summit (LAS) draws over 500

Congress got an earful this week when over 500 hoteliers descended onto Washington, D.C., for the hotel industry’s largest legislative conference to date. Hotel owners and lodging professionals from AAHOA and AH&LA visited offices on Capitol Hill Wednesday and urged action on the industry’s legislative priorities, which range from labor issues to short-term rental regulations. Attendees of the conference’s education segment Tuesday were taught the ins and outs of lobbying their legislator, the details of each issue and heard remarks from U.S. House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer (D-MD).
