AAHOA Annual Convention & Trade Show in Full Swing

#AAHOACON18 kicked off in Washington, D.C., at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on Tuesday. This year's event has drawn more than 6,000 hotel industry professionals and exhibitors from across the country. Several top hotel industry executives graced the main stage yesterday, including Eric Danzinger (Trump Hotels), Keith Cline (LaQuinta Inns & Suites), John Kidd (Radisson Hospitality, Inc.), Mark Hoplamazian (Hyatt Hotels Corporation), Pat Pacious (Choice Hotels International) and Ryan Rivett (MyPlace Hotels of America). American football coach and sports broadcaster Jimmy Johnson gave a poignant keynote address about leadership and what it takes to build and maintain a solid team. Earlier today, several more CEOs shared words of wisdom with attendees, and offered insight on ways to improve business, develop relationships and stay ahead of the competition. A bustling trade show floor featuring more than 400 exhibitors has proven to be an excellent place for members to find and cultivate new business relationships. Many attendees have also taken advantage of the highly topical education sessions available this year, including tips on survey management, online reviews, human trafficking awareness training, how to use big data to boost business, and more.
