Labor Department appeals persuader injunction

DOL on Thursday appealed a Texas federal judge’s June injunction blocking its persuader rule, which increased disclosure requirements for the hiring of union-busting consultants and attorneys. Previously companies could avoid disclosing the hiring of such "persuaders" if they strategized with managers but did not interact with workers.
