This past week, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB)
considered rulemaking to address the standard for determining
joint-employer status. AAHOA President & CEO Chip Rogers stated, "AAHOA members are encouraged by this first step towards rectifying one of the most egregious and disastrous actions ever taken by the NLRB." Read the full statement here.

reports, "Last week was a decent clean comp (ex-hurricane impact). Most of the
gains were ADR driven (+3.5%). The strongest days of the week were midweek

Tourism numbers dropped after Mexico City was hit eight months ago. Boutique hotel owners are now uniting together to help boost the tourism industry. "We have a beautiful hotel, but there are a lot of hotels like us that are fighting for the market. I thought that if we came together as a group, we could promote ourselves and be more powerful."
