Upper Midscale (+6.0%) also underperformed the industry average. Last week was a continuation of the strong y/y Easter shift comp given Passover/Easter over the prior week in 2018 (weekend of March 30, 2018). The easy calendar shift was particularly evident with Group RevPAR +9.9% and the corporate-leaning Upper Upscale segment at +7.1% (the best result of the chain scales).” For more, read the full report.
