We need your help. In order to most effectively advocate on behalf of hoteliers, AAHOA is collecting information from members who have executed a 1031 like-kind exchange (LKE) transaction. Your thoughts on the 1031 LKEs via this short survey will help guide our outreach efforts to the appropriate elected officials and agency employees as we advocate on your behalf. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey and help us help you.
In an effort to ensure that we're delivering top-quality communications and resources to help hoteliers, we'd like to invite you to participate in this brief Today's Hotelier readership survey. To thank you for your time, at the end of the survey, if you choose to share your contact info, you will be entered into a drawing to win one of three $50 VISA gift cards. Your personal information will be kept completely confidential and will only be used to contact the winners.

AAHOA hosted the Young Professional Hoteliers Reception Tuesday night during the 2021 Hunter Hotel Investment Conference. We had a great turnout for a night of networking with peers, industry executives, and other hospitality professionals, and AAHOA would like to thank all the sponsors for their support during the event. Held at STATS Brewpub in downtown Atlanta, it was our first reception held in conjunction with Hunter, and we look forward to further collaborations in the future. Truist Securities (formerly SunTrust Robinson Humphrey) wrote, “We continue to view May as a transitionary month between the extended Spring Break into April and the commencement of summer leisure demand (especially after school is out of session). On a 2-year basis, we find the comp increasingly clean post-April holidays. Despite a sequential improvement in 2-year RevPAR to -30.2% from the prior -32.6%, there has yet to be any leap outside the 2-year RevPAR range of -27% to -33% that we have seen for several weeks. Upscale RevPAR was +191.9% and -38.2% over 2 years; Upper Midscale was +171.1% and -21.1% over 2 years.”
