AAHOACON21 marked the culmination of several campaigns, as 13 Board seats were up for election. On the closing day – also voting day – each Board candidate was given three minutes to present his or her case for office, and the open Secretary position featured a moderated – and passionate! – debate between the two candidates. Thank you to everyone who ran for office and to those who voted for candidates they believe will make AAHOA stronger.

Throughout AAHOACON21, we kept reminding everyone to pace themselves, and just because this year's edition is now in the record books, there's no time to rest. We now turn our attention toward AAHOACON22, which will find AAHOA Members descending on Baltimore on April 12-15 to continue the momentum created last week in Dallas.

Will we still be dealing with the pandemic? What will the economy look like? Will workforce issues have abated?

While we certainly can't answer those questions now, we can guarantee that our industry will remain resilient, and AAHOACON22 in Baltimore will represent another opportunity to address the issues facing our industry.

Simply put, the AAHOACON21 Trade Show floor was massive. Spanning nearly as much square footage as eight football fields, the hall was filled with exhibitors, AAHOA Interactive sessions, and attendees looking for new solutions for old problems.
