AAHOACON24 Update

We have some exciting updates and
announcements for AAHOACON22!

Please note that due to changing circumstances,
the following events and times have changed. 

 

Updates for Thursday, April 14

  • General Session on Thursday now begins at 8:15 a.m. sharp. Doors open at 8 a.m., so get there early to snag your seat! 
  • Keynote speaker, podcaster, and best-selling author Jay Shetty will now be onstage during General Session on Thursday, April 14. (Previously, he was scheduled for Friday, April 15). 

General Session Details: A full lineup of speakers and the content you can expect to find at each General Session is now updated in full in the 2022 Event App.

It’s hard to believe, but AAHOACON is almost here!

AAHOACON22 is a day away, and it’s obvious from all the feedback that attendees are truly excited.

You can feel the energy, anticipation, and eagerness to get back together to see familiar faces, make new friends, and network with the best of the best in the hospitality industry.

Wait until you see what AAHOA has in store for you this year. AAHOA’s staff and Convention Committee have been working around the clock to make this year the best one yet.

Whether for education, inspiration, deal-making, networking, or simply having FUN, we have an incredible lineup for this year’s event.

To everyone who has already registered to attend and are headed to Baltimore, it means so much to us that you’ve made the necessary sacrifices to be here. We hope you find AAHOACON22 to be immeasurably enriching and rewarding, and a valuable experience.

We can’t wait to see our old friends, make new ones, and celebrate the hard work we’ve all put in over the past few months.

Convention Highlights

We have a full week of excitement headed your way and a slate packed with amazing keynote speakers, entertainment, education, inspiration, and so much more. Here are just a few quick highlights.

Tuesday, April 12
Welcome Reception
M&T Bank Stadium, home of the Baltimore Ravens

We will open the 2022 AAHOA Convention & Trade Show with a Welcome Reception at M&T Bank Stadium, located about 1.5 miles, or a short 15-minute walk, from the Baltimore Convention Center. Our popular Welcome Reception is our chance to celebrate coming together for AAHOACON22 in Baltimore at the Ravens' stadium. Join thousands of fellow attendees and industry peers for an unforgettable celebration as we kick off AAHOACON22 in style.

Wednesday, April 13
Keynote Speaker: Ray Lewis

Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis was a two-time Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, and Defensive Player of the Year during his 17-year career.

AAHOA Block Party: Power Plant Live!

AAHOA will be hosting our wildly popular Block Party at Power Plant Live! during AAHOACON22! Offering 11 different venues and the Power Plant Live! Alley to choose from, all under one roof, AAHOA’s biggest bash of the year will give you the unparalleled opportunity to network with peers, industry executives, and other hospitality professionals in a festive atmosphere full of food, fun, and friends. Always one of the top highlights of the convention, the Block Party is not to be missed!

Women Hoteliers Session & Luncheon
Guest Speaker: Heather Penney

One of our most popular sessions at AAHOACON each year, this year’s Women’s Session and Luncheon is not to be missed. Featuring guest speaker Heather “Lucky” Penney, the first and only woman in the 121st Fighter Squadron, you’ll walk away inspired and energized by her unique story related to leadership, balancing fighter aviation with motherhood, risk-taking, and how to take on the “impossible.” Attend this session and luncheon to network with fellow women hoteliers, make new connections, and learn from one of our country’s heroes.

With the AAHOACON22 app, you can:

E-voting is here!  

The 2022 AAHOA Elections process is now completely online, which means eligible voters can cast your ballots regardless of where you’re geographically located. To participate in the voting process, you should have already:

  • Confirmed that you’re eligible to vote.
  • Completed the credentialing process to verify your identity using the 2022 voting app, Voatz, between March 28 and April 8.
  • Gained access to a smartphone where you can cast your vote using Voatz.

Make sure you’ve reviewed and are familiar with the candidates and positions at AAHOA.com/2022Candidates, then be available to cast your vote via your smartphone when the polls are open:

  • Thursday, April 14, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT
  • Friday, April 15, from 9 to 11 a.m. EDT

If you did NOT complete the credentialing process prior to AAHOACON22, you will NOT be able to participate in the 2022 AAHOA Elections. Need more information? Contact us at info@aahoa.com.
