The Port of Oshawa is located on the north shore of Lake Ontario,
about 30 miles from Toronto and within close proximity of the St.
Lawrence Seaway and Welland Canal. Facilities include two wharves,
storage tanks and domes for dry and liquid bulks, and a warehouse.
Channel and berths are maintained at Seaway depth of 8.2 meters/26.9
feet. On average, the port handles $23 million worth of cargo annually,
from salt and steel products to asphalt and grain.
