Tacoma’s Dakota Chamberlain Earns PPM® Certification

He is the second Tacoma port official and the 110th candidate overall to earn PPM® certification since the program’s inception in 1995. His PPM® research report, "Competition to Cooperation: Formation of The Northwest Seaport Alliance," was co-authored with David Morrison and can be accessed on the AAPA website free of charge by AAPA members and for $20 by non-members.

Mr. Morrison is also with the Port of Tacoma, as director, financial planning and treasury. He is working toward completion of other aspects of the program as a member of the PPM® class that is scheduled to graduate by 2019.
