Start Preparing Now for AAPA’s 2019 Communications Competition

While Wednesday, May 1, might seem like a long way off, that’s the deadline for submitting your entries into AAPA’s 2019 Communications Awards Program. In the meantime, start now by putting together a list of the individual entries and entry elements you want to include in your submission(s). The earlier you begin, the better your submission(s) and the easier it will be to complete it/them on-time.

By clicking More on this page, you’ll find a link to the entry guidelines, upload instructions for your entries, a link to securely pay for your entries, and a link to download the required PowerPoint slide template that must be completed for each entry submitted.

Winning entries from this year’s competition will be announced in June and individual awards (for Excellence, Distinction and Merit) will be shipped shortly after that. Winners who email back a photo showcasing their award(s) will be featured in an audio/visual presentation during AAPA’s 2019 Annual Convention and Expo in Norfolk, VA, which takes place Oct. 13-16, and is being hosted this year by The Port of Virginia. Entrants who win one of the three Overall Award of Excellence trophies will receive their trophy during the awards luncheon on the final day of AAPA’s 2019 annual convention.
