Professional Port Manager Program - PPM®

Massport Executive Earns PPM® Certification 

Michael Vanderbeek, deputy port director, sales and marketing, at the Massachusetts Port Authority, has completed AAPA's Professional Port Manager (PPM®) program. Mr. Vanderbeek is the first from Massport and the 95th candidate overall to receive PPM certification since the program’s inception in 1995. He will receive his certificate at this November’s AAPA Convention in Houston. Mr. Vanderbeek’s report on his residency at the ports of Ningbo and Qingdao, China, is available on the AAPA website free for downloading by members.
