The Belledune Port Authority, alongside the Province of New Brunswick and the Government of Canada, is actively promoting Belledune's Green Energy Hub and clean hydrogen project at the World Hydrogen Summit in Rotterdam. This collaborative effort involves highlighting New Brunswick as a prime destination for clean energy to international delegates, emphasizing opportunities for trade and investment. The initiative aims to decarbonize industry, meet Europe's energy needs, and bring prosperity to northern New Brunswick. Additionally, discussions with the Ports of Rotterdam and Antwerp-Bruges aim to explore potential collaborations, while private developer Cross River Infrastructure Partners plans a multi-billion dollar hydrogen facility in Belledune, set to commence operations within the next five years.
 
The Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) Board of Directors has voted to appoint Richard Davey as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director for a five-year term, beginning no later than September 9, 2024. Davey, who previously served as the President of the MTA’s New York City Transit, brings vast transportation experience, having overseen North America's largest mass transit system. With a diverse candidate pool, Davey emerged as an ideal choice to lead Massport, building upon its solid foundation and strategic investments aimed at reducing emissions, enhancing customer experience, and fostering economic growth. Davey's prior roles in Massachusetts, including as the Commonwealth’s Secretary of Transportation, and his advisory work focused on transportation and infrastructure, position him well to steer Massport toward continued success.

After 27 years of dedicated service as PhilaPort's representative in  Europe, Lutz Ehrhardt has retired, leaving behind a legacy of building strong commercial and personal connections between Europe and Philadelphia. He will be succeeded by Uwe Gaede, a seasoned shipping leader with extensive experience in the industry. PhilaPort's Executive Director, Jeff Theobald, and Senior Director of Marketing, Sean Mahoney, express gratitude for Ehrhardt's contributions and anticipate a smooth transition under Gaede's leadership, expecting continued growth in European business opportunities.
 
The Port Authority of Guam celebrated the completion of the rehabilitation of Agat Marina's Dock B, along with the installation of new restroom facilities and CCTV cameras. General Manager Rory J. Respicio emphasized the significance of Agat Marina as a beloved destination for locals and visitors, highlighting the expansion of capacity and infrastructure to meet growing demand while prioritizing environmental sustainability.
