Auto imports and container throughput posted gains during the first quarter of 2016 at the Northwest Seaport Alliance’s facilities in Seattle and Tacoma.

The Maryland Port Administration (MPA) on April 21 announced a new contract with Royal Caribbean International that will extend the cruise line’s year-round departures from the Port of Baltimore through June 2020. Carnival Magic is the latest Carnival ship to be homeported at Port Canaveral, joining Carnival Victory and Carnival Valor on year-round departures from the Space Coast.
