Community Development: Corpus Christi, Houston, Long Beach
The
Port of Corpus Christi
summer intern program
provided an opportunity for a college student to impact the Communications/Community Relations Department

partnered with the Galveston Bay Foundation on several environmental stewardship projects
focused on beautifying and restoring the bay. The

have reached an agreement for preferential berthing rights and signed a Memorandum of Understanding
incorporating the negotiation of a development agreement for the construction of a new Cruise Terminal AAA

and Sound Transit, with Sound Transit mascot Zap Gridlock, partnered in
handing out 500 free light rail tickets to disembarking cruise passengers
to encourage them to spend time in Seattle before taking Link light rail to the airport.

that includes ports of Naples, Salerno and Castellammare di Stabia. The

planning a number of initiatives that are focused on reducing underwater noise from large commercial vessels
within designated critical habitat for the endangered southern resident killer whale population.
