AAPA Seaports Advisory
August 7, 2018
Last Thursday, AAPA and PhilaPort hosted more than 25 maritime executives, supply chain experts, policymakers and media to discuss the state of our nation’s freight transportation infrastructure. The discussion touched on many challenges and barriers to the efficient movement of goods across our ports ranging from funding, permitting, dredging, security and regional planning. Thanks to PhilaPort for hosting us and for an amazing "hands on" tour of the port.

AAPA’s port outreach continued this past week with visits to the South Jersey Port Corporation and to the Port of Wilmington. Thanks to both ports for hosting AAPA staff. We value our relationships with our members, enjoy meeting their employees in person and learning more about the exciting things happening at our ports. We would love to visit you too the next time we are on the road. Contact Mary Beth Long for more information.
