AAPA corporate members are invited to nominate individuals for consideration as AAPA's 2019 Port Person(s) of the Year. The deadline for nominations is Friday, December 14, 2018. One or more awards are made in recognition of individuals whose outstanding work has made a significant contribution to public ports and/or maritime commerce either internationally or within a country or region. Generally, nominees are not members of the public port community itself, but friends and allies (active members of the Association are not eligible). The formal criteria for eligibility and judging are available on AAPA’s website (scroll to the bottom of the page).
