The Port of Brownsville and the Brownsville & Rio Grande International Railway received the Railroad of the Year Award after capping off a record-breaking year in 2018 for the movement of carloads. North Carolina Ports’ third neo-Panamax crane arrived to the Port of Wilmington. The Zhen Hua 25 arrived to the port following a three-month journey from Shanghai, China. The Northwest Seaport Alliance Managing Members voted to approve lease agreements and authorize construction on the Terminal 5 Modernization Program, readying it to return to use as a premier international container terminal.

The Port of Halifax 2019 cruise season officially started April 8 at 9:30 a.m. with the arrival of Marina, an Oceania Cruises vessel, at Pier 31.
