The three-day event included an in-depth tour of the Port of Santos, networking receptions, an exhibit hall featuring innovative business solutions, and an agenda full of world-class presentations. AAPA is proud to announce the launch of a new website for the Port Opportunities with Energy, Resilience, and Sustainability (POWERS) Program. The website will serve as a clearinghouse for the latest news and resources on energy, resilience, and sustainability policy in the port and maritime industry. Featuring original articles and a resources section with reports from members and partners, the site encompasses a repository of supporters of the program and of energy and environmental objectives in the port and maritime industry. AAPA will also use this website to highlight the needs of, and initiatives taking place in, the industry to achieve energy security, resilience, and sustainability goals. The news section's inaugural articles feature pieces from Congressional PORTS Caucus Co-Chairs, Rep. Alan Lowenthal (D-CA) and Rep. Randy Weber (R-TX), as well as AAPA members Port of Cleveland and Port of New Bedford. If your press or communications teams are seeking talking points on alternative fuels, U.S. energy exports, port electrification, resiliency, or offshore wind, AAPA is here to provide resources. Likewise, as a living site, AAPA is continually updating the news and resources sections. Reach out to Ian Gansler to contribute your own content to feature on the site.
