NOAA recently released its enhanced suite of high tide flooding products. Communities in eight U.S. locations along the East and West coasts experienced record high tide flooding last year – a trend that is expected to continue into 2024. View the details for your region in NOAA’s 2023 Annual High Tide Flooding Outlook. To help communities better prepare for more frequent flooding, NOAA developed the new Monthly High Tide Flooding Outlook which provides the daily likelihood of high tide flooding each day in the year, up to a year in advance, at locations nationwide. Together, these Outlooks provide high tide flooding predictions across timescales (e.g., daily, monthly, yearly) to support flooding mitigation and climate change resilience.
