Submit Your Questions: Revisions to Standards on Ambient Temperature
The Standards Committee wants to hear from Council members! The 15th edition of the Standards for Tissue Banking includes revisions requiring the term “ambient temperature” on labeling to be replaced with a specific numeric temperature range. These updates, affecting sections H26.000, H26.6000, H34.400, H34.500, and H37.700, take effect on January 31, 2027. To support implementation, a subgroup of the Standards Committee is developing guidance and invites your questions. To have your questions included, please email standards@aatb.org by Wednesday, March 5.
