The 15th edition of the Standards for Tissue Banking includes revisions requiring the term “ambient temperature” on labeling to be replaced with a specific numeric temperature range. These updates, affecting sections H26.000, H26.6000, H34.400, H34.500, and H37.700, take effect on January 31, 2027. To support implementation, a subgroup of the Standards Committee is developing guidance and invites your questions.
