A Federal Register notice has issued to obtain nominations of qualified candidates to 5 public member positions on the ACBTSA, which is a federal advisory committee within HHS, “established to provide advice to the Secretary on a range of policy issues related to blood, blood products and tissues.”
European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Healthcare (EDQM) Issues 5th Edition Guide to the Quality and Safety of Tissues and Cells for Human Application
The Council of Europe’s EDQM issued an updated edition of the guide, which provides a comprehensive overview of recent advances in the field, and technical guidance to ensure the appropriate quality and safety of tissues and cells for human use.
