Researchers Create Engineered Human Tissue to Study Mosquito Bites, Disease

Researchers at UCF were able to line 3D biomaterials with human cells and then fill the engineered tissue with blood for mosquitoes to bite and feed from. The researchers hope this process will be a new way to study how pathogens mosquitoes carry can affect human cells and tissue.
IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center Collecting Tissue From Men for Breast Cancer Research
